SWEETLY IT TURNS

Here are a couple looks I put together for a cover letter/portfolio that was sent to a local scriptwriter/director, K.T Bird, who was producing a low-budget film in Birmingham with Foliate Head Films. The script was sent to me and it was truly a powerful piece of writing and I was excited to get involved. They needed ageing makeup, scars, clown makeup and post-stroke makeup. I was limited in the products I could use as there was not a large budget for the makeup department so I had a play around with what was available. I got the job as head of makeup (well, the only makeup staff), but unfortunately the opportunity was lost due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as with a lot of people's livelihood's at the moment. K.T was fantastic to work with during the short time we had correspondence and I hope that this opportunity can be rearranged for such an exciting project.
